9. SPECIFICATIONS
9.1 General
1) Effective Length (EL): The effective area of each edge defined in table below.

engineering at 1-800-234-TAPE or by e-mail sales@tapeswitch.com
2) Sensor Switch: All Tapeswitch edge sensors use Controflex ribbon switch for actuation.
Ribbon switch devices consisting of a pair of metal conductor plates with an extruded jacket
of soft PVC.
3) Lead Wires: Tapeswitch edge sensors are available with several options regarding cable
style and exits. Not all edge sensors will have identical cable style depending on normal
standard (see
