Functions of the Operation Buttons and Dial
The following operations can be performed
using the operation buttons and dial on the
LCD monitor-remote control. Refer to the pages
indicated in brackets for scenes that allow
these operations.

Operating the LCD Monitor-Remote Control

Supply power to the camcorder.

Set the Media Selection switch on the
camcorder to TAPE or CARD.

Set the Power switch on the camcorder
to CAMERA or VCR.

Operate the desired buttons and dial on
the LCD monitor-remote control.
Note:
• You cannot turn on the camcorder power by
pressing the E (Power on/off) button unless the
Power switch on the camcorder is set to
CAMERA or VCR.
