6.1. SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
Ensure that the software has been installed and tested in advance of when it will actually
be required.
The software supplied by Online Electronics requires the Microsoft .NET Framework to be
installed on the host PC. Depending on which operating system is running on the host PC
it may be necessary to upgrade to the latest version of the .NET framework to enable the
correct installation of this software.
6.1.1.
MICROSOFT .NET FRAMEWORK INSTALLATION
An internet connection will be required for the .NET installation.
1. Log into the host PC as an administrator with full administrator rights.
2. Go to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/framework/install.
3. Follow all instructions provided to download and install the latest version for your
operating system.
6.1.2.
ID5001P CONFIG SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
To install the software supplied by Online Electronics follow the instructions below.
1.
Log into the host PC as an administrator with full administrator rights.
2.
If a previous version of the ID5001P CONFIG SOFTWARE is already installed, uninstall it
using Start menu > Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program.
3. Execute the setup.exe file found in the ID5001P CONFIG PUBLISHED folder.
4.
Follow all instructions provided on screen to complete the installation.
5. The software will now be available in the Start menu and a desktop shortcut will be
automatically created.
