The default relay states can be reversed by setting the RELAY INVERT to ON using the menu
system. The same thing can be achieved by simply swapping wiring between the NO and NC
connections.
5.10.2. EX CONNECTIONS
EX1, EX2 and EX3 are reserved for future use.
Do NOT use these connections.
5.10.3. RS485 SERIAL INTERFACE
RS485+ / RS485- / RS485G provide an RS485 interface for remote signalling and interaction
with the unit.
RS485+ / RS485- / RS485G are isolated from 0V and all other connections.
5.10.4. 0V CONNECTION
0V is the 0V reference for the internal PCBs. 0V should be linked to the ENCLOSURE connection
to improve electrical noise immunity.
5.10.5. ENCLOSURE CONNECTION
ENCLOSURE provides an electrical connection to the main enclosure. ENCLOSURE should be
linked to the 0V connection to improve electrical noise immunity.
ENCLOSURE is isolated from 0V (unless a link is fitted between 0V and ENCLOSURE).
If equipotential bonding, or earthing is required, then there are 2x M4 threads around the
perimeter of the display endcap. As per e.g. EN60079-14:2008 section 12.2.4 the ID5001P must
be isolated from earth or connected at one point to the equipotential bonding system.
5.10.6. REMOTE SWITCH CONNECTION
Do NOT use the TRIG+ / TRIG- connections.
TRIG+ / TRIG- are isolated from 0V and all other connections.
5.10.7. SWITCH CONNECTION
The local CONTROL BUTTON is connected between SW and 0V.
