5.10.8. CURRENT LOOP OUTPUT
CL+ / CL- provide a current loop output for remote signalling.
CL+ is connected to the current loop supply (in to unit).
CL- is connected to the current loop return (out of unit).
CL+ / CL- are isolated from 0V and all other connections.
When the unit is switched on and the CL function is disabled the CL output will consume 2.0mA.
When the unit is switched on and the CL function is enabled then the CL output will consume
either the LISTENING or DETECTION level current depending on the state of the signaller.
While in the LISTENING state, the CL output will consume the user configurable LISTENING
current (4.0mA default).
While in the DETECTION state, the CL output will consume the user configurable DETECTION
current (20.0mA default).
5.10.9. VBAT CONNECTION
This connection is for the internal BATTRY COMPARTMENT (if fitted).
Do NOT use this connection.

EXTERNAL POWER CONNECTION
The external 24VDC power supply should be connected to the VEXT+ / VEXT- connections.
VEXT+ / VEXT- are isolated from 0V and all other connections.
