ing makes drilling more efficient, eg when drilling into brick or
other such hard construction materials
Attention! Only change the tightening/drilling/impact drilling
modes while the machine is idle!
Always use only drill bits designed for impact drilling when drilling
in this manner

Setting up torque
The function for setting up torque can be used only if the machine
or set collar (6b) is set to tightening mode
Proceed as per the above to set up torque
Mounting and releasing tools
Turning the chuck mounting case (8) opens and closes the jaws
between which you place the working tools (drill bit, bit holder
etc) The machines are automatically equipped with a spindle stop,
which makes changing the tool using only one hand in the desired
direction very simple
Mounting a belt clip
Place the machine on a horizontal surface (eg a working table)
Slide the bent end of the belt clip (12) into the base for the belt
clip (14) Secure the belt clip (12) using a fastening screw (13) and
a corresponding screwdriver You can mount the belt clip to the
machine from the right, as well as the left side Be careful not to
mount the belt clip the wrong way round The belt clip position

"RED DOTS" LED Indicator (9)

Battery charge status (capacity) indication:
Is activated automatically once you press the switch button (3)
The LED light is on the entire time the machine is working It turns
off immediately once the switch button is released The following
lights up depending on the battery charge status (capacity):
• The battery is fully charged, all three status LED indicator lights
turn on
• The battery capacity has exceeded 60 %, two red LED indicator
lights turn on (the middle and the right)
• The battery capacity has exceeded 30 %, only one red LED in-
dicator light turns on (the right)
Reversible defect indication
• Low battery voltage indicator – this can occur when the bat-
tery voltage nears a dangerous level, useful for its repeated,
proper and safe recharge The control system disconnects the
engine and all the three LED indicator lights start blinking red
Release the switch button and press it again If the problem
persists, take the battery out of the machine and insert it into
the charger to recharge it Place another (replacement) battery
into the machine and continue working
• Excess load indicator – this can occur as a result of too much
power, eg during high torque levels, when the machine is
jammed etc The control system disconnects the engine and
all the three LED indicator lights start blinking red To turn the
machine on again, release the switch button and then press it
again
• Overheating indicator – this can occur during long-term ex-
cessive use The control system disconnects the engine and all
the three LED indicator lights start blinking red To turn on the
machine again, you have to let it cool down Cool down time
depends on how overheated it is

Irreversible defect indication
May occur as a result of a combination of factors eg during a
short circuit, engine failure, battery failure etc All three LED indi-
cator lights begin blinking red If the machine cannot be turned
on as per the above, bring it including the battery to your nearest
authorised service centre
