IMPORTANT
Always set the parking brake
when stopping the tractor. DO not
depend on the engine to keep the
tractor from moving.
NOTE: If the Hi-Lo shifter is left in
the "LOW" position, it is possible
and normal that the tractor might
still roll without the brake applied.
Do not leave the tractor until it has
come to a complete stop and the
parking brake has been set.
If parking on a slope is necessary,
always set the brake and chock
the wheels.
To avoid fire, do not park a hot
tractor on or near combustible
materials such as straw or dry
grass.
PARKING
PARKING BRAKE LEVER
(1) Parking Brake Lever
(2) Chocks
When parking or stopping the tractor,
secure it by applying the brake pedal.
With the brake pedals depressed, pull the
parking brake lever up to apply the park-
ing brake. In order to release the parking
brake, push in the button and release the
lever.
WARNING
Driving without releasing the parking
brake will cause the brake disc to
wear out quickly.
Apply the parking brake and place the
chocks at the rear wheels when
parking.
When parking the vehicle on a hill,
position the shift lever at low forward

gear) for uphill and low reverse

gear) for downhill. Set the parking
brake and chock the wheels.

Do not park on steep hills. The vehicle
may roll down and cause an accident.
