Flue Pipe and Barometric Draft Control

The flue pipe should be same size as the breech
connection on the appliance (see Figure 5 and
Figure 6 ). For modern units this should cause no
problem in sizing the flue pipe.
The flue pipe must have an upward pitch toward the
chimney of at least 1/4" per foot of length. It should fit
tightly and should not project into the chimney.

double-acting type, agency recognized for use with gas
vent systems.
Please reference appliance instruction for chimney size.
