Using the Compressed Air Breathing Apparatus

Warning!
The compressed air breathing apparatus may only be put into use in
a fully maintained and tested condition. If malfunctions or defects are
noticed prior to use, do not use the compressed air breathing apparatus
under any circumstances.
Get the apparatus checked and repaired by an authorised service
centre.

Mounting possibilities of the pressure reducer

The pressure reducer can be mounted in various positions on the carrying plate in
the slots provided depending upon the method of carrying being employed for the
compressed air breathing apparatus.

Retaining bracket
In order to mount the pressure reducer in accordance with the individual carrying
method of the compressed air breathing device, you must first remove it from the
carrying plate, then insert it into the required slot and then mount.
The de-mounting is to be carried out as follows:
(1) Unscrew the Allen screw and pull out of the retaining bracket and spacer.
(2) Remove the pressure reducer.
(3) Remove the spacer.
(4) Pull the retaining bracket out of the slots towards the back.
(5) Insert the retaining bracket from the back into the slot required and mount
the pressure reducer in reverse sequence.
