6.8 Front connector for the I/O modules
Use of the potential bridges for I/O modules without shield contact element
With the delivered potential bridges, for digital modules with a maximum rated voltage of 24
V DC, you can bridge the terminals for the voltage supply and thus reduce the wiring effort.
The bridges can be inserted between the facing terminals 9 and 29, 10 and 30, 19 and 39,
and 20 and 40.

Introduction
The front connector connects the I/O modules with the process signals.
Requirements
● The I/O modules are installed on the mounting rail.
● Wire the front connectors with the supply voltage turned off.
● Follow the wiring rules (Page 57).
● Prepare the lines, depending on the method of wiring.
Tools required
● Stripping tool
● 3 to 3.5 mm screwdriver
