Snort

Snort is a network intrusion detection system. It can be used as a packet
sniffer, as a packet logger or as a network intrusion detection system.
In IP71, Snort is used as a packet sniffer.
Syntax: snort [-dDeilnqvV]
The following options are supported in IP71:
-d
-D
-e
-i
-l
-n
-q
-v
-V
-?

Console

To access Console, click Diagnostics > Console.
The Console feature allows you to establish an SSH Session to your IP71
installed in a remote location.

Run Snort in daemon mode.
Display/log the Ethernet packet headers.
