Use
Place the base unit on a flat, stable surface. Place the blender jug on the
mounting plate and plug the appliance in.
Add the ingredients to the jug. Always start with liquid/soft ingredients, and
then add solid/hard ingredients. NOTE! Never exceed the MAX mark on the
jug. The jug can withstand temperatures up to 100ºC.
Put the lid on securely and ensure that the filler cap is on when you turn the
blender on.
You can add more ingredients directly through the lid by removing the filler cap
during blending. Remember to replace the filler cap afterwards.
Do not insert fingers or any objects other than the pusher during blending.
Press the power button located at the bottom of the rear of the motor unit.
Then press the Start/Stop button on the control panel. The display will light
up and show speed "5" and the time "0:00", and a beep will sound. Select the
desired programme depending on what is to be blended (see table below). The
corresponding indicator light flashes. You can also set the timer for any time
(max 7 min) using the arrow buttons (TIME). If you do not want speed 5, which
is the preset speed, change it from 1 to H (highest speed) using the arrow
keys (SPEED). See also the graphs on page 4 to see the various programme
cycles.
