Charging the Battery

1. Check rechargeable battery (9) before the first use and charge it if
necessary Only recharge the battery once it is has been fully discharged,
i.e. the power clearly decreases. Otherwise the battery may not achieve its
full capacity. Important! Only use the provided charging station and power
supply unit to charge the battery.
2. Connect the charging station (12)
with the power supply unit (14) and
plug into power mains. The power
indicator
(15)
indicates that power is on.
3. Insert the battery into the charging
station. The power indicator turns
red and indicates that the battery is
charged.
4. While charging, the battery and the
charging station become lightly warm. After charging process the power
indicator (15) turns green to show that the battery is fully charged. Charging
process takes approx. 1 – 3 hours. Remove the battery from the charging
station and unplug from power mains.

Inserting and Removing the Battery

1. Insert the battery (9) into the slot of the screwdriver. Do not apply force
when inserting the battery into the slot. Iserting can be achieveed easily
and without resistance.
2. The battery must be inserted completely until the battery release clips (10)
on the sides automatically audibly lock into place. To remove the battery,
simultaneously press the battery release clips and pull out the battery.

Checking the Battery Charging Level

The four LEDs show the charging level of the battery.
Press the test button (8) to check the charging level
of the battery. If all four LEDs turn on, the battery is
fully charged. If only two LEDs turn on, the battery
has to be charged.
