Charging the Battery

The rechargeable battery must be charged before the first use. Only
recharge the battery once it is has been fully discharged, i.e. the power
clearly decreases. Otherwise the battery may not achieve its full
capacity. Important! Only use the provided quick charger to charge the
battery.
1. Insert the battery into the quick charger. The power indicator turns
red and indicates that the battery is charged.
2. While charging, the battery and the quick charger become lightly
warm. After charging process the red indicator LED turns off and the
green indicator LED turns on to show that the battery is fully
charged. Charging process takes approx. 1 hour.
3. Remove the battery from the quick charger and unplug from power
mains.

Inserting and Removing the Battery

1. Insert the battery into the slot of the screwdriver. Do not apply force
when inserting the battery into the slot. Iserting can be achieveed
easily and without resistance.
2. The battery must be inserted completely until the battery release
clips (7) on the sides automatically audibly lock into place. To
remove the battery, simultaneously press the battery release clips
and pull out the battery.

ON/OFF Trigger

1. Press the ON/OFF trigger (5) to start the screwdriver. Release the
trigger to switch off the screwdriver. The rotation speed can be
varied by pressing the ON/OFF trigger. The more the trigger is
pressed, the faster the rotation speed will be.
2. The rotating direction button (6) can only be pressed when the
ON/OFF trigger has been released. Use the rotating direction button
to switch between clockwise and counter clockwise rotation. With
the rotation direction button in the central position the trigger is
locked and cannot be pressed. Use this position before you put
down the screwdriver, to avoid unintentional starting.
