Intended Use

The cordless drill has been developed for private use and is not designed
for the demands of industrial use.
The machine is intended for driving in and loosening screws as well as for
drilling in wood, metal, ceramic and plastic.
The intended use also includes an operation following the operating
instructions.
Any use beyond these parameters (different media, applying force) or any
changes (reconstruction, no original accessory) can lead to serious risks
and is regarded as use that is contrary to the intended purpose. The
operator is liable for any damage caused by improper use.

Before first Use

Remove the cordless drill and all accessories out of the packaging.
Check all parts for damage in transit and do not use damaged accessory or
a damaged tool.
Keep packaging materials out of reach of children. There is risk of
suffocation!

Charging the Battery

Charge the battery before first use.
In contrast to Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries Lithium-ion batteries do not have a
memory effect. The capacity of other batteries decreases steadily but the
capacity of Lithium-ion batteries does not decrease. The capacity remains
constant until the electronics interrupt discharging. The cordless drill will stop
abruptly, if the charging level of the battery falls below a certain value.
Regardless of the charging condition, the battery can be charged at any time
without damaging the cells.
1. Connect the power cord of the charger (12)
with a wall socket. The power LED (14) lights
up.
2. Slide the battery (7) as far as it will go into the
charger, by inserting the battery terminals into
the suitable openings of the charger.
3. The red charging LED (13) lights up and the
power LED turns off.
