Drilling

Before starting to drill select a lower speed to avoid the bit slipping away from
the desired hole location. If the drill-hole is deep, the drill-bit may become
jammed in the hole. In this event a high torque could damage the drill bit or the
drill. If the bit becomes jammed, hold the screwdriver firmly and immediately
release the On/Off trigger. Switch to counter clockwise rotation and use a low
rotation speed to remove the jammed drill bit more easily.

Screwing

Before using the screwdriver check whether the screw bit is inserted correctly.
Avoid over-tightening, otherwise the screw head may be damaged or stripping
of the threads may occur.
Set the rotating direction button (5) clockwise. Insert the screw-bit into the slot
in the head of the screw. Hold the screw bit right to the head of the screw,
otherwise the screw or the screw head may be damaged. Press the screw bit
against the screw with a constant pressure while driving in the screw.
To unscrew, set the rotating direction button (5) counter clockwise. Insert the
screw bit into the slot in the head of the screw. Hold the screw-bit right to the
head of the screw, otherwise the screw or the screw head may be damaged.
Press the screw bit against the screw with a constant pressure while removing
the screw.

Battery Disposal

1. Run motor until the battery is completely discharged.
2. For removing the battery, depress the battery release clips (10) and pull out
the battery.
3. Wrap heavy insulating tape around the battery terminals or enclose in a
sealable plastic bag to prevent possible shorting.
4. Dispose of the battery through your local waste removal authority.

Maintenance and Cleaning

 Remove the battery before undertaking any cleaning or maintenance work.
 Use only a moist cloth to clean the unit. Do not use aggressive chemicals
which may dissolve plastic parts, or abrasives. Always keep the ventilation
slots (11) clean and free from obstructions.
