WMS Transmitter
The WAREMA Mobile System (WMS) transmitter can
receive the pulses of conventional 230 V push buttons.
It converts these into WMS signals for the remote control
of WAREMA WMS receivers. Its compact design enables
flush mounting in deep 60 mm boxes.
The WMS Transmitter supports 5 different product types. It
has one channel into which a maximum of 10 receivers of
the same product type can be learned in.
Through the connection of additional push buttons, the
WMS Transmitter can also switch on and off the comfort
controls of the learned products or move to a comfort
position.
Nntended use
This WMS Transmitter is an electronic device that was
developed to control WAREMA Mobile System (WMS)
receivers. The approval of the manufacturer must be
obtained for uses outside of the purposes listed in these
instructions.

WARNRN
The electrical installation must be per-
formed by a certified electrician in accord-
ance with the electrical installation regula-
tions published by the Wssociation of Ner-

WARNRN
Nf it appears that hazard-free
operation is not possible, the device may
not be started or must be deactivated. This
assumption is justified if
 The housing or the supply lines show
signs of damage
 The device is no longer working.
C
WATNIR
Never activate buttons on your transmitter
arbitrarily without visual contact to the sun
shading product. Children must not play with
this product – remote controls or transmit-
ters must not get into the hands of children!
The range of radio controls is restricted by legal regula-
tions for radio systems and through structural factors.
Adequate radio reception must be ensured when plan-
ning the project. This applies especially if the radio signal
must penetrate through walls and ceilings. The control unit
should not be installed in the immediate vicinity of metal
components (steel beams, steel-reinforced concrete, fire
door).
Carry out the following steps in the sequence given to
ensure problem-free operation:
Please read these instructions carefully
Mount and wire the WMS Transmitter and the neces-
sary push buttons
Learn the transmitter into the receivers
Check that the system is functioning correctly
Nnstallation
The device is designed for installation in a separate deep
60 mm flush-mounted switch box. The space in a box
behind a push button is usually too tight.
Only lines that are used for the wiring of the transmitter
should be routed into this box.
Mount the WMS Transmitter such that the bottom of the
housing with the printed radio waves symbol
the opening of the box. This ensures the best possible
radio reception. The LEDs and the reed contact for
commissioning are also found here.
When using multiple WMS Transmitters, the distance
between the sensors must be at least 0.3 m.
Check that the transmitter is functioning properly be-
fore the final installation.
Strong local transmitter systems (e.g. WLAN) with trans-
mission frequencies identical to those of the control
system may interfere with reception.
We reserve the right to carry out improvements
