Function
A FAN-40SB fan module consists of a fan tray, a fan, and a fan control unit. FAN-40SB-B and
FAN-40SB-F fan modules use different airflow designs but have the same functions.

Description
After the fan module communicates normally
with the switch, the switch controls the speed
of fans based on temperature of the chassis.
