Types of warning sound and indicator
Types of warning sound
When an object is 120
to 60 cm (47 to 24 in.)
from the rear bumper,
the warning sound beeps
intermittently.
When an object is 60 to
30 cm (24 to 12 in.) from
the rear bumper, the
warning sound beeps
more frequently.
When an object is within
30 cm (12 in.) from
the rear bumper, the
warning sound beeps
continuously
Information
The indicator may differ from the
illustration depending on objects or
sensors status. If the indicator blinks,
we recommend that you have the vehicle
checked by an authorized HYUNDAI
dealer.
NOTICE
When you shift the gear to R (Reverse)
Indicator
and if one or more of the below occurs
you may have a malfunction with the
Parking Distance Warning system.
• The audible warning does not sound.
• The buzzer sounds intermittently.
• A message "Parking sensor error or
blockage" appears on the instrument
cluster LCD display.
If one of the above occurs, we
recommend that you have the vehicle
checked by an authorized HYUNDAI
dealer.
