Step 4: Observe the status of the Link LED for the E1 interface. ON means that a link is
present. OFF means that no link is present and you need to check the line.
III. Connecting T1 interface to DSU/CSU

Introduction to the T1 interface
T1 interface, which stands for channellized CT1/PRI interface, is responsible for
forwarding and processing T1 data flow, delivering CT1 access and implementing ISDN
PRI function. Its attributes are listed in the following table.
