Q. LATERAL TRUNK AND HEAD SUPPORTS
(MODERATE SEATING)
This adjustment
may
be made with the user seated in the chair.
Lateral Height and Width Adjustment
Loosen,
or remove if necessary,
a.
adjustment of the laterals.
b.
Use shell slots, (outer (G) or inner (H)) for height adjustment. Move the laterals up or down to
the proper position and tighten the knobs.
c.
Use lateral bracket slots ( I ) for width adjustment or move from outer to inner shell slots.
Adjust the lateral brackets for width bringing the lateral assembly to the proper position and
tighten the knobs.
R. HIP GUIDES
(MODERATE SEATING)
Width Adjustment
a.
Determine the proper location for each hip pad.
b.
Remove the seat cushion to expose hip pad adjustment screws(A).
c.
Loosen, or remove if necessary, two nuts under seat pan (B).
d.
Adjust hip pads to the desired position.
e.
Tighten the adjustment nuts (B) and replace the seat cushion.

Adjustment
a.
Determine the proper location for each hip pad.
b.
Remove the cover from the hip guide to expose hip pad adjustment screws.
c.
Loosen two adjustment screws (C).
d.
Adjust hip pads to the desired position.
e.
Tighten the adjustment screws (C) and replace the hip guide cover.
S. MEDIAL SUPPORT PAD
Medial support pads are optional equipment available only with the optional contoured
seating system.
Angle and Width Adjustment
a.
Locate medial adjustment screw. (D) Screw is located beneath the forward edge of the seat.
Note: The receiver assembly plate will need to be partially loosened and moved.
b.
Lock the wheels, seat the child, and buckle the pelvic positioning belt.
c.
Loosen the adjustment screw from beneath the seat and adjust medial pad to proper width
and angle.
d.
Tighten adjustment screw to lock the medial position.
