Troubleshooting Guide
The following table provides a list of common problems and possible solutions.
Symptom
No power to Controller
No power to Truss Box
No power to luminaire
No console control
Lamp does not strike at power-up
No intensity fader control
No blackout button control
No beam output
Reticle appears as a black box
Solution(s)
Ensure power cable is properly connected to Neutrik input
connector
Ensure power is switched on at source (mains, disconnect box, etc.)
Ensure power on/off switch is ON
Ensure power cable is properly connected to Neutrik input
connector
Ensure power is switched on at source (mains, disconnect box, etc.)
Ensure power cable is properly connected to Neutrik input
connector
Ensure power is switched on at source (mains, disconnect box, etc.)
Ensure data cable is properly connected to Controller
Ensure DMX512 address setting is correct
Ensure correct luminaire is selected in the console profile (Bad Boy/
Best Boy)
Configure lamp to start at power-up
Enable intensity scaling
If intensity scaling is already enabled, deselect the Blackout button
to ensure the console is not limiting the output.
Enable blackout
Check intensity setting
Check beam iris setting
Ensure Blackout button is not engaged
Check intensity scaling setting
Ensure luminaire lamp is lit
Reset GC Controller
Reset Truss Box
Reset Camera
