5 - Operation
Filling Powder chemicals by HARDI® FILLER
1. Fill the main tank at least 1/2 with water (unless something else is
stated on the chemical container label). See section "Filling of
water".
2. Turn the Suction valve handle towards "Suction from main tank".
Adjust the top Pressure Agitation valve - clockwise (in) for less
agitation, counter-clockwise (out) for more agitation.
3. Engage pump and set to normal operating level.
4. Turn HARDI® FILLER valve to the "ON" (horizontal) position and
open FILLER lid.
5. Measure the correct quantity of chemical and start filling it into the
hopper. Place the rinsing wand inside the hopper and press the
lever (A) to flush the chemical down.
6. If the chemical container is empty, it can be rinsed with the rinsing
wand. Place the rinsing wand inside the container and press the
lever (A).
7. Place the rinsing wand inside the hopper and press the lever (A) to
rinse the concentrated chemicals from the hopper.
8. Turn HARDI® FILLER valve to the "OFF" (vertical) position when the
hopper is rinsed.
9. Close the FILLER lid.
10. When the spray liquid is well mixed, keep pump engaged so the
spray liquid is continuously agitated until it has been sprayed on
the crop.
ATTENTION! The scale in the hopper can only be used if the
sprayer is parked at level ground! It is recommended to use a
measuring jug for best accuracy.

DANGER! Do not press rinsing wand lever unless the nozzle is
covered by a container or aimed inside the hopper to avoid spray
liquid hitting the operator.
ATTENTION! Rinsing wand uses spray liquid to rinse concentrated
chemicals from containers. Always rinse the chemical containers
with clean water several times until they are clean before
disposal.
ATTENTION! The rinsing wand uses spray liquid for rinsing
concentrated chemicals from the hopper. The FILLER must
always be cleaned together with the rest of the sprayer when the
spray job is done.
