Track width, axles and wheels

Altering the track width

The track width of the RANGER can be adjusted from 60" to 90" in 2"
increments as follows:
1. Measure the current track width (center RH tire to center LH tire).
Each side must be extended or retracted half the desired
alteration.
2. Attach the sprayer to tractor and engage tractor parking brake.
3. Place stop wedges in front of, and behind RH wheel. Jack up frame
behind LH wheel, support and secure sprayer body.
4. Remove bolts (A) for LH axle insert.
5. Extend or retract the axle.
6. Replace bolts (A) and tighten to specified torque.
7. Repeat the procedure on RH wheel.
8. Check if the distance from center tire to center of rear frame is
equal at RH and LH.
9. Retighten bolts and wheel bolts to specified torque after 8 hours
of work.

WARNING! Securely support the sprayer during axle adjustments. Never attempt to adjust axles with liquid in the tank.
Always block wheels on opposite side when adjusting axles.

Turning rim and rim plate

Track width cannot be altered by turning rim and rim plate. The rim plate
can be fitted left or right. With an offset of :

-3.7"
