NOTE!
Simultaneously activation of the safety inputs means that the time between the
activation or deactivation of the inputs must be less than 1 s. This time is also
known as discrepancy time. If the discrepancy time exceeds 1 s, fault F0160
will be displayed on the HMI. To reset this fault, it is necessary to set both safety
inputs (STO1 and STO2) to the same logical state, and then de-energize and
re-energize the frequency inverter.
NOTE!
Test pulses present in OSSD outputs are tolerated and do not activate the safety
functions, provided that they respect the following specifications:
Pulse duration: < 1 ms.
Interval between pulses on the same channel: > 8 ms.
Interval between pulses on different channels: > 4 ms.

3.3 CONFIGURING THE SAFETY FUNCTION

The controlled delay time of the SS1-t safety function is used to select which safety function is
configured in CFW500-SFY2. If the delay time is programmed with 0 s, then STO is selected;
on the other hand, values from 1 s to 999 s configure the SS1-t safety function.
NOTE!
The factory default value for the controlled delay time is 0 s, i.e. the CFW500-SFY2
is pre-configured with the STO safety function.
The delay time is programmed by setting the DIP switches S2 of the CFW500-SFY2 and defining
the parameters P0106, P0108 and P0109 via HMI, according to the procedure below.
1) Perform the start-up sequence described in
2) Make sure the frequency inverter is in the safe state, i.e. the safety inputs are deactivated
and the HMI displays alarm A0160.
3) Set both DIP switches S2 to the "ON" position. The HMI must display alarm A0162, which
means the safety functions module entered the programming mode.
