My phone's storage memory is
full with photos, music etc which I
want to keep – what can I do?
Upload your photos to BT Digital Vault using
BT Snap & Send. Or, you can expand your phone's
memory by using a Micro SD memory card.
To purchase a card please call us on 0800 0322 111
free from a landline or 150 free from your BT ToGo.
To insert the card, remove the back cover from your
phone. Insert the Micro SD card into the slot (see
page 22 item 26 of this guide) with its gold contacts
facing down. To remove, press the Micro SD card
with your thumbnail to pop it out of the slot.
Alternatively you can link your phone to your PC
using ActivSync and copy files across (see page 38
of this guide).
I see program memory errors when I open
multiple programs, or try to take a photo
with multiple programs open - what do I do?
Any task or program you run on your phone will use
some of the phone's program memory. Use the Task
Manager [Start > Expert > Task Manager] to access
or close program(s) running on your phone. Close
as many as required to enable the new activity to
run successfully.
Keypad lock
To activate the keypad lock press and hold
the
key. Once locked the left soft key label
changes to Unlock. Click this and press the
key to unlock the keypad. It's a good idea
to use the keypad lock as it not only prevents
keys being pressed accidentally but it also
switches your phone to powersave mode.

I experienced a missed call or voicemail
when my phone was on but it did not ring
This is because the phone regularly checks
for new email, and in the short period of time
that this happens, any new calls will divert
to voicemail. This is a fairly rare coincidence
1
but is not a fault with the phone.
I keep on seeing this screen
– what should I do?
If this screen appears please select Option
then Abort. Return to the Home Screen.
Press Start then press the left soft key marked
More twice to scroll down to the BT Services
icon
. Click once to open and then scroll down
and select Detection Off. Press OK (right soft
key). When you see the message "Switch off
handset detection?" press OK to confirm.
Will my phone's features be updated?
Yes – from time to time BT may send you
upgrades usually in the form of a prompt for you
to accept texts or to follow links to BT websites.
We recommend you do not upgrade your
operating system from non-BT websites
even though such facilities may exist.
