How do I save my phonebook contacts
from my old SIM card to my new BT
Broadband Anywhere SIM card?
Ensure that you save your phonebook
before you port your number, otherwise
you will lose all your existing names and
numbers when you swap SIM cards.
The SIM card can store up to 200 entries
To do this:
• Take your old mobile and SIM card and transfer
your phonebook from the SIM card to the mobile.
• After you port your number, insert your
newly activated Broadband Anywhere
SIM card into your existing mobile and
copy the phonebook to this SIM.
• Finally, remove your Broadband Anywhere
SIM card and insert into your new BT ToGo.
Check your voicemail
When you port your number any text
messages, voicemail messages and personal
greetings you have on your old SIM card
will be lost, so make a note of anything
important before you swap SIM cards.
Do I have to enter the wireless key every
time I want to connect to my Hub?
No, you only have to enter the wireless key once.
After this all you need to do is select your Home
Hub from the list under Select Wi-Fi network.

Why does a different number show on
other people's phones when I call them?
This is your BT Broadband Talk number and
it may show when you make a BT Broadband
Talk call from your BT ToGo. People calling your
mobile number will still get through to you
even if you have BT Broadband Talk selected.
So it is best to give friends and family your
normal mobile number to contact you on.

If I make BT Broadband Talk calls
from my BT ToGo will I use up my
inclusive mobile minutes?
No – BT Broadband Talk calls do not use up your
inclusive mobile minutes. All BT Broadband
Talk calls will be charged to your Broadband
bill and will not appear on your mobile bill.
What happens if I am on a BT Broadband
Talk call and I move out of Wi-Fi coverage?
The call will be cut off. You may redial the call
but it will be placed over the mobile network.
