If the motor is straining under a heavy load, do not operate continuously for more than 10
seconds and make a break of at least 1 minute. For normal blending tasks, do not blend
longer than 1 minute at a time. Allow the motor to rest for 15 minutes. For this, switch off the
appliance (press ON/OFF button), unplug, and thereafter, stir ingredients manually before
putting the appliance in operation again. This rest will help protect the motor from wear and
tear. Do not handle the appliance or any part of it with violence.
Tip: None of the recipes in these instructions are considered a heavy load.

Operating the »Design Mixer Duo Advanced«
Operate the appliance on a well accessible, stable, level, dry and suitable large table or
counter that is resistant against water. Do not place any delicate objects near the appliance
during operation to avoid damage.
Do not operate the appliance with the jug empty to avoid damage to the appliance. Do not
operate the appliance without the lid properly in place and the measuring cup or citrus cone
mounted in the centre of the lid.
Preparation
Peel and cut into 1.5 - 2 cm cubes.
Leaves only.
Remove shells
Whole berries, chopped soft fruit like
peaches.
Milk, chopped fresh fruits, yogurt, ice
cream.
Break biscuits in half.
Cut bread into 2 cm cubes.
Cool to room temperature.
Oil, vinegar or lemon juice, seasonings.
If desired, add sugar and/or vanilla
before blending.
