Features and functions of each part of the system are listed below:
1. spl is a first level bootstrap program. After the system starts up,
the ROM inside the CPU will copy spl to internal RAM and perform
its routine work. Its main function is to initialize the CPU, copy
u-boot into the memory and let u-boot lead the booting process;
2. u-boot is a second level bootstrap program. It is used for
interacting with users and updating images and boot the kernel;
3. A Linux version with kernel 3.2.0 is employed here and it can be
customized based onSBC8600B;
4. rootfs employs open-source system ubifs. It is small in capacity
and powerful, very suitable for embedded systems;
