Valve terminal type 10 with connection for the installation local
bus has been designed exclusivley for controlling pneumatic ac-
tuators and is only suitable for use in InterBus installation local
bus systems. The specified values for pressures, temperatures,
electrical data, tightening torques, etc. must be observed here.
Installation local bus systems and valve terminals may only be
installed by specially qualified personnel. Details on the design
and on addressing can be found in the documentation for the
InterBus. Further information can be found in the detailed ma-
nual and in the Pneumatics manual P.BE-CPV-.... .
WARNING
• Use only power units which guarantee reliable electrical
isolation of the operating voltages as per IEC 742/
EN 60742/VDE 0551 with at least 4 kV isolation resistance
(protected extra low voltage, PELV). Switch power packs
are permitted, providing they guarantee reliable isolation
as per EN 60950/VDE 0805.
• Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plug connectors (otherwise functional
damage may occur.
• Connect the earth/ground connection
terminal with low impedance (short cable with large
diameter) to earth potential.
PLEASE NOTE
Commission only a completely fitted and wired valve
terminal.
