5.1.2 Single installation

Connect the power cable to an easily accessible, preferably separately pro
tected, socket.
The device starts the self-test mode. The red alarm LED flashes once and a beep
sounds. After that, the green operating LED flashes for a maximum of 3 minutes
every second. During this time, the device determines the room air condition. If the
green LED is lit continuously, the device is ready for operation and monitors
the room air.

Test operation

The test operation ensures that the product works properly by briefly triggering
all audible and visual warning signals.
Press the Test button to run the test mode or connect the device to a suitable
voltage source.
If all LEDs flash briefly and a short warning tone sounds, the device is working
properly. The test operation ends automatically after a few seconds.

False alarm, defect

In case of improper operation or false alarm, the error LED lights up yellow and
a continuous tone sounds.
1. Are the environmental conditions deviating from the optimum operating range,
or are chemicals other than the gases referred to herein, such as those
described herein? Alcohol or acid present in high concentration in the room, test
the Radon detector in another room.
2. If none of the above situations occur, disconnect the device from the power
supply and reconnect it.
If a false alarm continues to be output, have the device replaced.

Material damage, false alarm
Gases and vapors from cleaning agents can lead to false alarms.
Detergents and chemicals can damage equipment.
Use only a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
Do not use detergents and chemicals.
When not in use, store the product in a cool, dry, dust-protected
place out of the reach of children.
Store the original packaging for transport.
Regularly check the product for function by means of its test
button or by qualified electric / gas specialists.
