14. TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
1. The engine does not start
when using the switch
2. The motor shuts
down whilst working
3. The engine is running
but the cutting means
does not rotate
4. The cut grass is no
longer collected in
the grass catcher
5. Mowing is difficult
6. Excessive noise and/or
vibration is experienced
whilst working
7. Battery power
reserve is low
If problems persist after implementing the solution, contact your Dealer.
15. ACCESSORIES ON REQUEST
15.1
"MULCHING" KIT
Finely chops the cut grass and leaves it on the
lawn, instead of collecting it in the grass catcher
(for machines equipped with it) (Fig.23)
15.2
BATTERIES
Different capacity batteries are available to suit
specific operating requirements (Fig.24). The
list of approved batteries for this machine can
be found in the "Technical Data" table.
PROBABLE CAUSE
The safety key is not inserted
or is inserted incorrectly

Insert the key (par. 6.3)
Turn the key to position "1" or "2",
according to the model (par. 6.3)
Open the hatch and check that the battery
is correctly fitted in its slot (par. 7.2.4)
Check the battery status and recharge
if necessary. (par. 7.2.3)

Remove the safety key, put in work gloves and
remove the grass or debris from the lower part
of the machine and/or from the discharge chute
Immediately turn off the motor
and remove the safety key.
Contact an authorised service centre to
ensure correct fastening (par. 8.1)

contact a Service centre to replace the
cutting means if necessary. (par. 8.1)
Clean the inner part of the chassis to
facilitate the evacuation of the grass
