• Models with handle height adjustment
– The height of the handle can be adjusted
in 3 different positions, indicated by the
indicator at the base of the handle (Fig.7).
– To adjust the height of the handle, loosen the
knobs, adjust the height of the handle to the
height of the operator, and tighten the knobs.

CONTROLS
5.1
SAFETY KEY (DEACTIVATION DEVICE)
The key located inside the battery compartment enables
and disables the machine's electrical circuit (Fig. 8.A).
• Models with 1 battery slot
– safety key to "0" position: the electric
circuit is completely deactivated to prevent
uncontrolled use of the machine.
– safety key to "1" position: the electric circuit of the
machine is activated, thus starting the machine.
• Models with 2 battery slots
– safety key to "0" position: the electric
circuit is completely deactivated to prevent
uncontrolled use of the machine.
– safety key to "1" position: the electric circuit
of the machine is activated, thus starting the
machine. The battery in slot 1 is used.
– safety key to "2" position: the electric circuit
of the machine is activated, thus starting the
machine. The battery in slot 2 is used.
IMPORTANT Remove the safety key whenever the
machine is not used or when it is left unattended.
5.2
SWITCH COMMAND
The switch control starts/stops the engine and at the
same time engages/disengages the cutting means.
The positions shown correspond to:
1. Start-up. To start, press the safety button
(fig. 9.A) and pull the lever (fig. 9.B).
2.
When the engine starts, the
cutting means is also engaged.
3. Stop. The engine stops automatically
when the lever is released (Fig. 9.B).
5.3
CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Lower or raise the chassis to cut the
grass at different heights.
Carry out this operation when
the cutting means is stationary.
The cutting height is adjusted using
the specific lever (Fig.10.A).
6.
USING THE MACHINE
The safety regulations to follow are
described in chap. 2. Strictly comply with these
instructions to avoid serious risks or hazards.
6.1
PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
Before
starting work, it is necessary to carry out
several checks and operations to ensure that the work
is carried out efficiently and in maximum safety:
1.
Make sure that the safety key is not inserted in its slot;
2.
place the machine in a stable horizontal
position on the ground;
3.
check the battery (par. 6.1.1).
4.
select the appropriate operating mode (par. 6.1.2);
5.
Adjust the cutting height (par.5.4).
6.1.1
Checking the battery
Before using the machine for the first time after
purchase, fully charge the battery following
the instructions in the battery booklet.
Before each use:
– check the battery charge status according
to the instructions in the battery booklet.
6.1.2
Preparing the machine before starting work
NOTE This machine can be used to mow lawns in
a number of different ways; before starting, prepare
the machine based on how the lawn is to be mowed.
a. Preparation for grass cutting and
collection in the grass catcher:
1. Lift the rear discharge guard (Fig.11.A)
and hook the grass catcher (Fig.11.B)
correctly, as indicated in the figure.
b. Preparation for grass cutting and rear
grass discharge on the ground:
1. Remove the grass catcher and make sure
that the rear discharge guard (Fig.12.A)
is stable in lowered position.
