3. Turn the emergency stop button (A) on the control
panel clockwise to make sure that the emergency
stop button is disengaged.

4. Push the ON/OFF button (B) on the control panel to
start the engine.
5. When the engine starts, immediately release the
ON/OFF button.
CAUTION: Do not try to start the engine
for more than 5 seconds at a time. If the
engine does not start, wait 15 seconds
before you try again.
6. Before you operate the product, wait 3-5 minutes
and let the engine become warm. Idle at a maximum
of 340 rpm. Refer to
page 7 .
To operate the product with control panel
CAUTION: Move the product all the time
while the grinding head is on. If you do not
move the product, the surface can become
rough.
WARNING: Do not use on surfaces that
have a gradient higher than that marked on
the machine.
1. Start the engine. Refer to
control panel on page 19 .
2. Turn the speed knob for grinding discs (A) to set the
rotation speed. Set the rotation speed to 750 rpm or
Rpm for the grinding discs on page 7 .

3. Push the start button for grinding head (B) to start
the grinding head.
4. Use the speed knob for grinding discs to increase or
decrease the rotation speed while you operate the
product.
Note: The rotation speed will increase above the set
rpm value for some seconds during start of grinding
discs.
5. Push the product forward across the floor surface.
Use the speed knob for grinding discs to adjust the
speed while you operate the product.
To stop the product with control panel
CAUTION: Do not lift the grinding head from
the surface when you stop the engine. The
tool plates rotate for a while after the engine
stops. Dust can go into the air and the
surface can become damaged.
CAUTION: Do not let the product become
stationary until the tool plates stop fully.
1. Push the stop button for grinding head (A) to stop
the grinding head.
2. Turn the propane tank valve clockwise until it stops
to stop the propane supply to the engine.
WARNING: Use protective gloves when
you touch the propane tank valve. The
propane tank valve can be very cold.
3. Keep the tool plates against the surface until they
stop fully.
CAUTION: If you grind adhesive asphalt,
paint or equivalent material, the product
can attach to the adhesive surface.
Immediately after the tool plate stopped
fully, lift up the front of the grinding head
a small distance.
4. Wait until the engine stops. The engine stops when
there is no fuel in the line.
5. Push the ON/OFF (B) button to stop the engine.
