3. Remove the speed control servo and the clean out
covers for the cylinder.
4. Clean the cylinder cooling fins with a brush or with
compressed air.
To do a general inspection
• Make sure that nuts and screws are tight.
• Make sure that the grinding discs turns smoothly.
• Make sure that the grinding discs are clean.

• Make sure that the lock mechanism for the tool plate
is clean and turns easily.
Drive system for grinding head
The drive system for the grinding head is a closed
system. If you have problems with the drive system of
the grinding head, speak to your Husqvarna service
agent.
To fill the water tank with water
The water level in the water tank is too low when the
button for the Mist Cooler System (A) on the control
panel is yellow. The indicator for Mist Cooler System (B)
in the display is also yellow when the water level is too
low.

1. Open the storage hatch near the engine. Refer to
open the storage hatches on page 17 .
