Problem
The product is not
easy to hold on to.
The product sounds
as if it decreases the
speed too much.
The product makes
an irregular scratch
pattern.
There are sudden un-
wanted movements
in the product.

Cause
Too small number of diamond tools are in-
stalled on the product.
The belt is broken.
The surface or the operation uses too much
of the product capacity.
The pressure in the propane tank is too low.
This can be caused by fault with engine or
fault with wire to the engine.
The surface is too thick or the diamond tool
configuration is incorrect.
The diamond tools are incorrectly attached or
attached at different heights on the grinding
discs.
The diamond tools are of mixed types.
The head locks are loose or missing.
The resin tools are mixed or have unwanted
contamination.
The grinding discs are worn or damaged.
The grinding discs are worn or damaged.
The diamond tools are incorrectly attached or

Solution
Increase the number of diamond tools to de-
crease load on product and operator.
If the belt is broken, let a service center re-
place it.
Turn one of the grinding discs by hand. If all
grinding discs rotate together, the belt is not
damaged. If 1 grinding disc rotates freely,
then the belt is broken.
Adjust the speed of the engine and/or the for-
ward speed of the product across the floor.
Fill or replace the propane tank.
If the problem continues, speak to an ap-
proved service agent.
Push down the handlebar slightly to lift the
grinding head from the surface when you
start the product.
Make sure that all diamond tools are installed
correctly and have the same height.
Make sure that all segments are the same di-
amond grit and bond. If the diamond seg-
ments are rough, space out the rough dia-
mond segments equally. Operate the product
on an abrasive surface until all segments
have the same height.
Make sure that all head locks are in position
and tightened.
Make sure that all resins are the same dia-
mond grit and bond and that there is no con-
tamination. To clean the resin tools, operate
them for a short time on a lightly abrasive
surface
Examine the grinding discs for broken sec-
tions or too much movement.
Examine the grinding discs for damaged
parts and too much movement.
Make sure that all diamond tools are installed
correctly and that all have the same height.
Make sure that all head locks are in position
and tightened.
