    - Plug the AC/DC power converter (supplied) into the rear panel of the unit and plug the other end into a wall outlet or power distribution system. - Connect your DMX-lighting by using XLR-XLR cables (Ayra recommends using special DMX 110 Ohm cables, such as Procab REF953). Daisy-chain all your DMX lighting until every fixture is connected. Set the correct DMX addresses (see the manuals of every individual product).

    Programming and editing Record enable To enter the PROGRAM mode of this device, follow the described steps: 1. Hold the RECORD button and press Flash buttons 1-5-6-8 in this order. 2. Release the RECORD button. The RECORD LED will light up. Create a program A program in this lighting controller can be a static program (one scene) or a combination of several scenes, looped in a particular order (chase).
  • Page 13 2. Record a scene with 1 or more steps (see above) 3. If you are not satisfied with the scene(s), you may press and hold the Record button and tap the Page/REC CLR button. All LEDs will flash, indicating that the scenes have been cleared. NOTE: This function will erase all data stored in the temporary memory.

  • Page 15 Also the order of the connected fixtures is not important. DMX-controlled devices can be daisy-chained using XLR-XLR cables. AYRA recommends the use of 110 Ohm DMX cables and a DMX terminator (110 Ohm, see below) at the end of a DMX chain.

    MIDI operation MIDI IN operation The controller will only respond to MIDI signals that are sent to the MIDI channel it responds to. All MIDI control is performed by using MIDI Notes on commands. All other MIDI instructions are ignored. To stop a chase, you need to send a blackout on note.

    Sending MIDI File Dump 1. While holding the Record button, tap Flash button 4 three times. This display will show “ MIDI FILEDUMP SENDING 000%” when the device is in the correct mode. 2. While holding down Record, tap the REC Exit button to leave the MIDI setting. NOTE: This function will only work with this device, not with any different brands/types.

If this troubleshooting section does not solve your problem, contact your dealer for more information and help. This troubleshooting section contains the most frequent problems and is not a complete collection of possible faults, defects and solutions.
