The range 1 indicates how far
you can ride with the remain-
z
ing fuel. This distance is cal-
culated on the basis of average
consumption and the quantity of
fuel on board.
When the motorcycle is
propped on its side stand
the slight angle of inclination
means that the sensor cannot
register the fuel level correctly.
For this reason, the range is
only recalculated when the side
stand is folded in.
The range is displayed to-
gether with a warning once the
fuel reserve is reached.
After refueling, the range is re-
calculated if the fuel quantity is
greater than the fuel reserve.
The calculated range is only an
approximate figure.
Upshift recommendation
The upshift recommendation in
the Pure Ride 1 view or in the
status line 2 indicates the best
time for an upshift from an eco-
nomical perspective.

Adjusting the volume
Connect the rider's helmet and
the passenger helmet (
Increase volume: turn Multi-
Controller up.
Reduce volume: turn Multi-
Controller down.
Mute: turn Multi-Controller all
the way down.
Set date
Switching on ignition (
Call up menu Settings, Sys-
tem settings, Date and
time, Set date.
Set Day, Month, and Year.
Confirm setting.
