6.2 Replacing the Fuse

• Switch off the multimeter and remove all measuring cables from the
inputs and the measured component.
• Remove the protective cover if the instrument.
• Loosen the three screws on the backside of the
unit and remove the bottom housing (see
"Changing the Battery").
• On the bottom of the board you will see the
fuse (F500 mA / 250 V). Grasp the fuse and
simply pull it out.
• Replace the fuse with one of the same type and
dimensions (F500 mA / 250 V Ø 5 x 20 mm).
• After replacing the fuse, reattach the housing to
the unit. Place the battery in the detached shell
and then place the part with the circuit board
over it. Finally, tighten the screws.
• Your multimeter is now ready for use.
CAUTION! Do not operate the unit with the housing open.
