3. Operating Elements and Connections

3.1 Function Keys

On / Off Button (2)
To turn the unit on, press the "Power" button (2). To turn the unit off, press
"Power" again.
Function Key (7) "HOLD"
With the "HOLD"-button, you can "freeze" the current measured value in the
display (1). Press "HOLD" during measuring to "freeze" the current value in the
display. "HOLD" is also displayed.
If you press the button again to switch off this function, the current measured
value is displayed.

3.2 The Connecting Sockets

µA/mA Input (4)
The socket is intended for the red measuring probe when measuring current in
the range of up to 200 mA. For this, set the rotary function switch (3) to the
corresponding position. This input is protected by a fuse (F500 mA / 250 V Ø 5
mm x 20 mm).
A-Input (5)
The socket is intended for the red measuring probe when measuring AC/DC
current in the range of up to 20 A. For this, set the rotary function switch (3) to
the "A" (AC or DC) position.
V/Ω/
-Input (9)
The socket is intended for the red measuring probe when taking AC/DC-
voltage measurements in the range of up to a maximum of 1000 Volt (CAT II),
for testing diodes, for continuity tests with buzzer and resistance measure-
ments. For this, set the rotary function switch (3) to the corresponding position.
