4-4 BATTERY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Park the tugger securely (See 3-3 "Parking the tugger securely") and turn off the
power before removal and installation of batteries.
Battery removal and installation steps:
A: Remove four screws (1), take out the cover (2).

B: Remove four screws (3), take out
the battery plate (4).
C: Remove battery cable. Put batter-
ies in or remove batteries.
• Installation is in the reverse order
of removal. Pay attention to the posi-
tion of the battery and cable connec-
tions during install. Be careful not to
damage the cables when you remove
and install the batteries.
