5-4 DECOMMISSIONING THE INDUSTRIAL TUGGER

If the industrial tugger is to be decommissioned for more than two months, it must
be parked in a frost-free and dry location and all necessary measures must be
taken before, during and after decommissioning as described.
On decommissioning the tugger must be hoisted so that all the wheels are clear of
the ground. This is the only way of ensuring that the wheels and wheel bearings
are not damaged.
If the tugger is to be out of service for more than 6 months, further measures must
be taken in consultation with the manufacturer's service department.
