This message is sent by one device to request the identity of the receiving device. The format of
the message is as follows:

The BRC never transmits this message, but is able to receive it. If this message is received at its
MIDI Input port, the BRC will respond as follows out its MIDI Output port:

5.4 Software Level (v0 v1 r0 r1)

Each (7-bit) byte is the ASCII representation of a digit of the software version. e.g. 30H is the
ASCII value for zero and 31H is the ASCII value for one, therefore, version 01.00 (vv.rr) would be
represented as v1 = 30H, v0 = 31H, r1 = 30H, r0 = 30H
