5.0 BRC SYSTEM EXCLUSIVE INFORMATION

The first release of the BRC System Exclusive information is dated August 31, 1993. This
document has been reprinted here for service center personnel to assist in helping BRC users with MIDI
and System Exclusive problems and questions.

5.1 Alesis BRC System Exclusive

In addition to MIDI Machine Control (MMC) commands, the BRC also responds to and sends
out Alesis system exclusive commands to access functions that are not addressed by MMC commands.
The BRC has the following MIDI System Exclusive format:
