4.3 QC Test Procedure

Appendix E contains the test procedure which must be performed on every BRC serviced in the
field. This test allows the service technician to verify that the unit is working to the highest level of
quality. The test includes a check of the sync interface to the ADAT, as well as all of the major
functions of the BRC. This test procedure should be conducted only after all repairs on the unit have
been completed.
The QC Test Procedure is written in a step by step, comprehensive manner. It should be
conducted in the order written. All test equipment requirements, hook up and settings are described in
the text. If there are no severe difficulties with the BRC, then this test should take the service technician
approximately 15 to complete. If problems occur with the unit during the conduct of this test, please
consult section 3 of this service manual for assistance in resolving said problems.
