Tub Ring Removal Procedure:

WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Using method appropriate for model, lift
washer top to access tub ring.
NOTE: The washer top cannot support itself
without being braced against a wall or cabinet.
Make sure to insert the two support tabs
located on the rear brace, into the slots located
at the rear of the washer top. See Figure 1.

3. Disconnect drain hose from tub ring.
4. Locate the six (6) tub ring clips illustrated in
Figure 2. Unclip each clip with a "stubby" flat
blade screwdriver.

5. Lift-up the left-rear suspension rod and
disconnect it from the rear brace (see Figure 3).
This will allow more room to access the two
clips located on both sides of the bleach well.

6. After servicing the tub, reinstall the tub ring.
Next, reconnect the left-rear suspension rod
being certain the rod is properly seated in the
suspension ball. Be sure the bushing is clipped
into the rear brace (see figure 4).
