Operating Speed
The recommended operating speed depends on the packer rings, where the
Crosskillrings stand the maximum speed. To make the best possible use of the
soil packer rings, use them for intractable clayey soil or on newly ploughed
soil, which is not packed. Moreover, it must be recommended to drive accord-
ing to the conditions.
• 70, 80 and 90 cm packer rings: 5 to 8 km/h
• Crosskillrings (48/53 cm): 7 to 10 km/h
Scrapers
To secure cleaning of the rings, firm scrapers (A) are attached between each
ring, which is specially made of spring steel.

However, scrapers are not attached on the Levelflex with Crosskillrings, be-
cause the rings keep themselves clean.
