Replacing the GP308 GPU Card
Removing a GPU card
1. Determine the location and numbering of the GPU card to
be removed.
2. Remove one end of the power cable from the GPU card to
be removed. The other end connecting to the PCIe board does
not need to be removed.
3. Loosen the screws on the GPU card using a Phillips
screwdriver. See (1) in the figure.
4. Remove the GPU card from the slot. See (2) in the figure.
5. Remove the Atlas GPU card bracket from the GPU card.
6. If a new GPU card is to be installed, install the removed
Atlas GPU card bracket and place the original GPU card in an
ESD bag.
7. If a new GPU card is not to be installed immediately, install
the removed Atlas GPU card bracket on the GP308 chassis
and install a GPU card filler module. The filler module does not
need to be connected to a power cable. Place the removed
power cable to the GP308 fixing clip.
