If you lack the necessary expertise to attach this product to the ceiling that you’re using, contact a construction professional to install the FLATPNLCEIL or to provide specific mounting instructions for your ceiling. 1. Use a pencil and the provided mounting template (9) to mark the location on the ceiling where you want to attach the ceiling mount. -

Attach the extension pole to the ceiling mount and pole 1. Place one end of the cable through the top hole in the ceiling mount and pole (1). 2. Run the cable through the ceiling mount and pole and the extension pole (2), and out the bottom of the extension pole. - Page 12 3. Slide the extension pole into the ceiling mount and pole, until the extension pole is at the height that you want it to be. (figure 3) 4. Line up the holes on the extension pole with the holes on the ceiling mount and pole.

If you encounter resistance while you’re tightening the screws, stop tightening. Failure to do so could result in damage to the 1. - Page 16 3. If you’re attaching a TV with an inset mounting surface, place the spacers over the mounting holes on the back of the TV. 4. With the mounting hardware pointed towards the bottom of the TV, position the vertical brackets so that the holes on the vertical brackets line up with the mounting holes or spacers on the back of the TV.

Attach the TV to the horizontal bracket Warning! Attaching the TV is a two-person job. Do not attempt to hang the TV by yourself. 1. Carefully lift up the TV and hook the mounting hardware on the vertical brackets (3) onto the horizontal bracket (4) attached to the extension pole (2). -
