HAPTER NTRODUCTION
The LAN PC Card shown in Figure 1-2 (the 3CXE589DC PC
Card in this guide) is a network adapter that allows you to
connect your PC to an Ethernet network, using the
®
XJACK connector. The only difference between the PC
Cards is the connector.
